page., (22x14 cm, single column,15x9 cm), manuscript in Naskh script, within a thick frame of gold,
orange, green and blue, the lines separated by a thick gold line, verses separated by gold dots. Each sura
is introduced with a panel of gold and blue with script in white. The manuscript has 9 double openings or
unwans with full borders comprising extensive and rich foliage and floral designs highly reminiscent of
Kashmiri carpets, work of a highly skilled artist . The manuscript is written on the highly glossy kashur
kaghaz and bound in lacquered board. |
